Thanks for the Warm Wishes

Thanks to all of you who have expressed your hopes for a speedy recovery and positive test results.  It is truly appreciated and heartwarming to know that you are out there praying for me.

So, this has been a day of mostly bed rest with an errand thrown in...I went to get my pain medication, which I have not had to take as yet.  I'e done fairly well with my diet today...I'm really trying to stick close to the program.  In recent weeks, I have intentionally increased some of my portions because I stepped up my work outs and was feeling that I was not eating enough.  After I read on the support site that as you get closer to goal you may find yourself feeling more hungry and increasing portions could help, I decided to try it.  It made me realize that I was not crazy or craving foods, but that my body needed more fuel.  This is an important fact to remember as we move from unfit to fit, unhealthy food to healthy...food is fuel and as your body uses it more efficiently you may find that you need to feed it more so that it can do what you're asking it to do.

Anyway, I think that I will take a quick snooze before my son gets home and I have to keep him from jumping on me:-)  Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.
